Memorial trees symbolize life and growth and are an ideal way to remember the passing of a special person. The Upper Loup NRD offers reimbursement on a tree or shrub when planted in honor of a loved one that has passed.
The only requirements for this special program are that the deceased must have lived in the ULNRD district, the tree or shrub is planted in the District and that the tree or shrub is a perennial and acquired from a reputable establishment.
The Upper Loup NRD is happy to reimburse family $15.00 on their purchase within a year of the passing. Upon receiving proof of death and a copy of the plant receipt, the ULNRD will provide a check to the family.
