Drip Line Cost Share
A well-planned drip irrigation system can have a tremendous impact on a young tree's survival and growth. The systems improve tree survival rate by providing water to the seedlings during the hot, dry summer. Drip line increases tree survival rate by providing water to the seedlings by dripping the water where and when the plants need it, with little or no evaporation and virtually no runoff.
The Upper Loup NRD provides cost share for drip line supplies, planning, as well as installation. Cost share is 50% and there is no minimum amount. Cost share is limited to $4,500 per producer per year. There will be no cost share on School Land and land under EQUIP, CRP, or CSP.
